Kellie Baker, PT, DPT

Kellie grew up in Raleigh, NC, where she attended Leesville Road High School and began developing an interest in movement, anatomy, and rehabilitation. She graduated from East Carolina University in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Science and returned to ECU for her Doctorate in Physical Therapy – graduating in 2019. Kellie was awarded a student leadership award by her cohort as well as the faculty-given George Hamilton Award for Student excellence.
After a wonderful experience at Aberdeen Physical Therapy as a student, Kellie accepted a position at the clinic upon graduation. Kellie has had experience treating patients at the East Carolina University physical therapy clinic as well as the ECU pro-bono clinic. Her specialties include shoulder and neck rehabilitation, general orthopaedics, as well as a strong interest and background in persistent and complex pain. Her interests outside of the clinic include reading, recreational running and weight-lifting, and exploring local breweries and eateries. She enjoys playing piano and has recently starting learning how to play acoustic guitar. |
