Alex was born in Pinehurst, NC and later moved to Laurel Hill, NC with his family where he spent most of his childhood. After middle school he made the decision to attend an alternative school similar to a dual-enrollment program, Scotland Early College High School. The program was located at Richmond Community College and upon completion of the program he graduated with his high school diploma and an Associates in Science. After high school, Alex went to Appalachian State University in Boone, NC where he studied Exercise Science and later graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science. After returning home from Boone, NC Alex began observation hours at Aberdeen Physical Therapy and Wellness where he later accepted a job as PT Tech for the clinic. He has spent his time assisting the clinicians in the facility learning about rehabilitation and preparing himself for the next step of becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant. In his free time, Alex enjoys running, cycling, eating, watching Seinfeld and 30 for 30 documentaries, playing guitar, riding motorcycles and most importantly, spending time with his family. |
