Susan Walker, PTA
Susan is a local who grew up in Raeford, went to Hoke High School and then to Fayetteville Tech for her Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree. She has been a PTA for more than thirty years. She has worked in multiple settings with multiple patient populations including private practices, nursing homes and home health. She has done respiratory work in hospital settings. She comes to us with a very broad knowledge base. Her interests include manual PT and general orthopedics. She has done work on the State and National levels of the Physical Therapy Association. She still loves what she does for a living.
Susan is married to a retired military man who has continued to work with the military. She owns a small farm and spends time with her horses, dogs, chickens, and various other animals. Susan has a son, Heath, who is an honors student that attends Sandhills Classical Christian School. Heath loves animals and is a Boy Scout. Susan's hobbies include horses, gardening and canning, and going to the beach whenever she can.
